My coaching ‘career’ needs to re-brand.
I started as Green Hat Coaching & Consulting in January, 2019, right after we got to Portugal. I was still doing consulting/project work for companies, and I liked the green hat from 6 Thinking Hats, focusing on creativity.
But that isn’t me anymore.
Now I am away from the corporate world.
Now I coach individuals.
I can coach broadly, but I have noticed that the trend is around our career life… first time jobs, career changes, layoffs, burnout, and retirement prep. it makes sense… that was my life for so many years. I’ve been through ALL of the career transition possibilities. I survived some better than others. I guess that makes me a ‘jack of all trades’ in this area.
And now, even though I am semi-retired, I am still a coach, and I still want to support many of you in your own career life. The journey can be twisted, foggy, dangerous, and with an endpoint that will likely change over time.
It’s just me, so no more Green Hat, just my own name. I love the image of butterflies that emerge through what I imagine could be a painful transition. And they fly! The pathway is curly, not straight, but after Change, we can fly again. I still like the bright spring green for new growth, so I left a touch of that. And the image is more serene, a nod to the peaceful serenity, Deep Joy, we need to survive big changes, and grow and thrive through time.
