Improving business English…. and beyond!
Initially, I sought assistance to enhance my English communication skills, recognizing a need to refine my communication for optimal outcomes. Following several sessions, our discussions evolved to encompass topics such as leadership and Agile, providing a platform to engage in meaningful exchanges and leverage the insights of an experienced counterpart.
Thene stood out as the initial individual in my memory, primarily due to her being a native speaker. Furthermore, my familiarity with her facilitated a mutually advantageous scenario, expediting our progress in this journey.
The trigger for my own improvement was always a mix of different things. Brainstorming ideas with someone who has more experience than you, especially in areas like leadership, will help you think outside of the box and adjust the initial journey or plan that you had in mind.
My outcomes? Firstly, I believe my English has improved to the point where I now feel comfortable speaking with any stakeholder in my daily interactions. Additionally, Thene has helped me gain more maturity and knowledge in handling difficult situations that I had never encountered before.
